Tattoo Removal Guide ("TRG", "we", "us") operates tattooremoval.guide — an independent directory of laser tattoo removal clinics. We are not a medical provider and do not offer medical advice.

How we source clinic data

Clinic listings are compiled from publicly available information including clinic websites, business directories, and government registers. Clinics are listed without requiring opt-in consent, based on publicly available business information.

If you are a clinic owner or operator, you can claim your profile to update your information, or request removal of your listing at any time. We will process removal requests within 72 hours.

What information we collect

From website visitors:

• Anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, time on site) via Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics
• Anonymous outbound click counts — when you click through to a clinic's website or phone number, we record that a click occurred (clinic identifier and click type only, no personal information)
• Preferences you store in your browser (saved clinics, compare lists) via localStorage — this data stays on your device unless you create an account

From account sign-up (optional):

• Email address and display name from your Google account (via Firebase Authentication)
• Saved clinics and compare lists — synced to our servers when you sign in
• Consent preferences — recorded so we can honour your choices

From form submissions:

• Clinic submission forms: clinic name, location, website, and your name and email
• Profile claim forms: your name, email, role, and the clinic you are claiming

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. If you opt in to personalised ads, we may also use Meta Pixel.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings link (resets your consent choice).

You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
